Leader - Clarinet and Sax
Background:

Dennis grew up in a musical family.  He learned clarinet and sax from father Ray Polisky starting at the age of nine.  Self taught on accordion, guitar, bass, music theory and arranging.  Grandfather Charles Polisky performed with the original Kryger Orchestra of Pennsylvania and Paul Whitman's big band.

Most Memorable Musical Moments:

Being inducted into the International Polka Association "Hall Of Fame" 2007, Attending the Grammy awards(nomination for our cd "Strike Up The Band"), receiving IPA Award "Favorite Instrumental group" (2002,2004,2005,2006), receiving IPA "Favorite CD for "Decade" 2006, meeting Richie Midura(clarinetist of CT Twins), first performance of The Maestro's Men March 1996, clarinet lessons with dad, backing up Bobby Vinton show, first time at Lincoln Center with the Sturr band, backing up Happy Louie at Springfield Symphony Hall, listening to a tape of my grandfather play the clarinet polka, recording a song together with my daughter, performing Gene Wisniewski's big band arrangements, first time Ray Henry put his big band back together
